The Flowing Path

For more than 30 years, I’ve been drawn to practices that quiet the mind, cultivate awareness, and nourish the soul. Whether through martial arts, yoga, time in nature, or the study of ancient philosophies, I’ve always felt the call to look inward. And the older I get, the more I find myself seeking not just knowledge, but a way of living in greater harmony with myself and the world around me.
Tai Chi has become that path—part movement, part meditation, part mystery.
This blog is where I’ll share what that path continues to teach me. Some posts will explore Taoist principles such as yin and yang—the harmony of opposing forces—or wu wei, the art of effortless action, and how these timeless ideas still speak to us in 2026 (and beyond). Others will be more personal: reflections from my own practice, moments in nature, or stories from my journey to the Wudang Mountains of China, where I’ll continue my training.
Whether Tai Chi is your path or not, I hope you’ll find something here that encourages you to slow down, notice more, and discover the wisdom that often hides within ordinary moments.
Thank you for walking the path with me.
